We've always had a great meal here, lunch or dinner! Highly recommend the pear quesadilla, and always get the half size salad! The portion on the regular is HUGE!!! Ask for salmon to be undercooked, I ordered it blacked tonight and it was over cooked but it was still delicious! The half salad half pasta or soup deal is great! Our server was lovely and the vibes are always good. Pear martini and pear mule are our favorites!
Casual ambiance with a robust selection of sandwiches and beverages at reasonable prices. The quad city melt had a perfect balance of meat and cheese and toasted to perfection. Paired with the sweet potato fries made for a wonderful meal. A very large patio with an abundance of misters made it very comfortable sitting outside on a warm evening. Worth stopping by if your in the area and want to try something new
We stopped here to grab lunch after getting into town and I have to say it was a great way to start our trip! We sat on the patio right by the fireplace which was perfect as it was just starting to sprinkle and was a bit chilly out. I had the Tukee Pear quesadilla. Aw man, it was fantastic. It was unique but if you like the toppings, you can't go wrong! I also had a cider which our server said was her favorite and I agreed, it was quite good! They have a relatively large menu with several items I thought sounded good and good prices too!
We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday, the patio was empty. We had our dogs with us. Three out of four of us in the group are vegan. They were very accommodating, it's basically just arriving cheese from everything. I got the Baja wrap, with a side sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were definitely the start the show. They were salty, crunchy, sweet, just perfection. The wrap was pretty boring, the lime vinaigrette it came with wasn't my favorite - it was light and added some flavor to an otherwise bland wrap. There was an option to add fake meat, I didn't go that route. Overall, a pretty decent place to grab a quick bite.
This was regarding my visit 10/13/2024 right before we went to the Kevin Hart Show in Phoenix... To get to host stand, you walk through patio. The misters were on, the weather was nice, and the vibe was great. It was around 5pm on Sunday, 10/13. Host was kind; she pretty much gave us free range to pick where we wanted to sit which was nice. Me and my mom were waiting on a third person to arrive for about 3-4 minutes. The server walked over with waters as our third was arriving. I feel like you should atleast greet your table in the first 1 minute of them sitting down, but I did also realize the longer we were there that our server was aaaalso bartending for some of the tables. Anyway, EVERYTHING we ate was delicious. Since I'm just now coming back to this drafted review, I don't remember what I was gonna say. I will say that my pear and the other pear drink I got were really good. I got the chicken and pesto sandwich, but I asked to add bacon and avocado... It was absolutely delicious. I swore I jotted down my servers name and the other lady, but I can't find them. All I can say was my server of a brunette and she was also bartender. Her, and the girl who brought over my replacement fries were aaaaawesome. Thank you for an amazing experience. We had a great experience at your other location, so thank you for doing a great job lol, my mother has went back to this place twice by herself because she enjoyed it so much we went.
This place is very cute. The outdoor patio is covered and there's plants everywhere! Lights too. The service was swift and the food came out very fast. The menu doesn't label anything gluten free - they do say they can make any sandwich and pasta gluten free but would be nice to have the gf label for other categories like appetizers! We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower for appetizer since the Asian Brussel sprouts were not gluten free. They use a shared fryer but that's fine for us. The cauli was good! Not too spicy and I loved the touch of blue cheese on top. Huge portion. My dad and I got the same thing. Half tomato basil soup and half gluten free pesto mac and cheese. I loooved the soup. Some tomato chunks for good textural contrast. So creamy but not heavy. The mac and cheese had penne of course lol - all gluten free places only have penne so it wasn't anything special but appreciate the alternative anyway. It was creamy for sure, I would've liked more roasted pepper and caramelized onion but it was hearty and yummy nonetheless. Huge half portions.
Always a treat dining at Perfect Pear! This location is so cute, the dim lighting and string lights making for a cozy ambiance. We started with the Green Chile dip, which is a little on the thick side. It was paired with tortilla chips and crostinis. My friend and I both preferred the dip with the chips over the crostinis. My go-to order is the garden bowl with chicken added. I love all the roasted veggies in this dish, and the combination of a garlic lemon sauce, pesto, and feta cheese is so hearty and delicious. My friend opted for the Baja Lime salad, and was very refreshing and light! To finish off we shared the seasonal pumpkin brownie. I like pumpkin and i like brownie, but the combination of the two was not my favorite. I appreciated that the brownie was on the crispy side, making for a nice crunch with the ice cream. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely a must try if you're near ASU!
Wow! I'm upset at myself for not trying this place sooner. We sat at the bar, service was great and the bartenders were helpful in recommending seasonal drinks and food options. I got their pear mule which was fantastic (my sister got a lychee mojito- also great). Happy hour from 3-6 saved us 2 dollars per drink! The bacon on our fall salad was so crispy and delicious. The sweet potato fries were crispy, seasoned well, and my favorite part of the meal!
